I’ve been awake for hours just watching Christa and waiting. I decided that I would get some work done while she slept this morning, but it’s noon, and she is still asleep, which is understandable. Even after werewolves get marked by their mates, it can be an exhausting process in itself; it tends to take a lot out of you. I would probably be right there with her if she had been able to mark me as well, but since she is human, it will affect her differently. I lay there on the bed with my back against the headboard and my laptop in my lap so I can be right next to her. Now and then, I’ll glance at her and see if she's going to wake up yet.
