Lawrence: No one in the history of time has ever been able to use machines and change a teenagers depression

Samuel: I think I heard quartz actually can help

Lawrence: Come on man, you should know better, quartz only helps to control emotions, doesn't mean, it eradicates it.

Samuel: Okay?

Lawrence: Gosh Samuel, you retired doesn't mean your brain did too mehn

Samuel: I am smart doesn't mean I read minds

Lawrence: (moves around) The plan is to use the machine we invented and add a little technology using the blood test you did when you were in service

Samuel: (Alarmed) No! You know you can't use that blood it was prohibited, think of the collateral damage

Lawrence: Think of the collateral (mimics him) , who can sue a rich man

Samuel: I..... don't think it is a good idea

Lawrence: nobody will know you were involved I promise

Samuel: So where do I come in?

Lawrence: Yes(looks at a paper, drops it)

Samuel: What!!!

Lawrence: You have 24 hours to get the job done Sam or we will have to use your son

Samuel: Are you insane ?

Lawrence: Not me Sam, orders from above but there will surely hear about your question when the twenty four hours are over without any one (phone clicks)

Samuel (Confused he keeps the phone, he doesn't notice Alex walk in, Alex tries to creep in and mistakenly a glass vase falls down bringing Samuel to reality)

Samuel: (Looks at him) Alex!

Alex: (Scared) I can explain dad, I will buy a new one tommorow from my allowance

Samuel: (Notices the vase) Don't bother, just pick it and throw

Alex:( surprised) okay dad

Samuel: when you are done come let's have a little talk. (Checks his time and walks upstairs)

15minutes later

Alex: Dad you said I should come

Samuel: Yeah, yeah seat down

Alex seats down, confused )

Samuel: How is Your girlfriend

Alex: Dad! Look if you want me to break up with her, I will right away

Samuel: No! No

Wait! Why did you say so

Alex: It's our personal hell

Samuel: (Fakes concern, checks his time ) I have watched that girl for a while and she loves you Alex, when you saw me lost in thoughts, I was actually thinking about how proud your mother will be when she finds out your life style, how handsome and a responsible man you have become but again I know for sure she won't be happy about one thing. How I have neglected your love life, you are a teenager, this life comes only once , it's time I be a dad and a mom

Alex: (concerned look) why do I feel like you have something up your sleeves?

Samuel: Yes I have someone up my sleeves (looks away)

Samuel:(Quiet for five seconds) your Mum!!

Alex smiles)

Samuel: (moves to his drawers) take your girl to Paris have a time of your life and be happy, if you are happy I will be also happy.

Alex: Anita will receive this news happily but what about her mum you know how she gets when she's under pressure

Samuel: I will talk to her but that will be when you both are gone (drops a huge sum of money) I have ordered a flight, take her today this night, surprise her, now go son

Alex happily goes upstairs arranges his things and head for Anita's bedroom window, uses a stone and hits on it, Anita comes down he tells her the news she rushes up and gets her things happily jumps on him and hugs him)
