The following day I sprang into action. I phoned my parents and Tanya, all of whom agreed to be trustees of the foundation. Mark and Angela accompanied me to my attorney’s office. He brought in an associate who was an expert on the subject and all the necessary paperwork was completed. As we left the building I felt energised, The Peterson Foundation was now a reality. The following day I would open the necessary bank accounts and transfer around eight billion dollars into the main account.
I looked at my watch; it was time to take Mark and Angela to McCarran Airport. Their flight was leaving in about two hours. I had tried to convince them to take the Gulfstream jet that I’d recently acquired, but they were more than happy to fly commercially.
