63 I had just returned from the school building-site and was relaxing in my quarters with Danni. Suddenly there was a loud rapping on the door. “Colonel Peterson, you’re wanted urgently in the op’s room!” Someone shouted. “I’ll be right there!” I shouted back. I turned to Danni and gave her a kiss. “No rest for the weary.” She grinned. “Probably just a problem with some building supplies or something.” I grimaced. “Remind me never to build anything in Africa again.” The school was progressing nicely despite the fact that decent building materials were in short supply.
