24 Mark and I gazed at the obstacle course with pride. It was situated right against the mountains in a remote part of the four hundred acres of land that I’d purchased earlier. It had taken two weeks to construct, along with the wooden barracks that would house over a hundred hopeful candidates. Being in the middle of nowhere, generators supplied all power and water was trucked-in on a daily basis. In addition to the barracks, there was a field kitchen, portable showers and a mess hall. Alongside the obstacle course was the shooting range; with a special section over two thousand yards in length where the snipers could hone their skills.
