14 It turned out that Kim was indeed correct with her prediction. We attended many more charity events over the next month and were soon part of the ‘in crowd’ of Las Vegas high society. I didn’t mind donating large amounts of money to the various worthy causes, but did I have to attend all the balls and banquets, I asked of Kim. “Of course Honey, everybody just loves you. You’ve seen how the men look at me too.
