Astrid meets her husbands’ father for the first time after eight months of marriage, and even more specifically eight months of living together in the same castle with the said man.
In her defense, the castle grounds were extremely large, almost the size of a small city and until recently she never had whatsoever interest in exploring the area or meeting the members of the family.
