She looked at the Beta standing in front of her, noticing his dry blond hair. He had tidily tucked the messy locks behind his ears on both sides, and his eyes met hers with kindness, radiating a comforting warmth.
“So… I can just ask you questions? And you will answer?” she asked the Beta, who nodded.
“Absolutely,” he replied. “I have many qualities, and being honest is definitely one of them. While it may mean you hear things you don't necessarily want to hear, at least you can trust that I won't deceive you. I'd rather stay silent than spread untruths.”
