I didn't answer Marco's question. Instead, I walked away from him and approached Edward. The latter and Brandon were looking at me.
"I'll help you," I said, taking the food that Edward brought and bring it to the kitchen. He followed me there.
"I told you earlier not to meet with other guys, didn't I?" he angrily said.
"I know that. But I can't do that," I replied to him.
"Go back to your house, Gemma!"
"No! I don't want to go back to that hellhole, Edward!" I firmly replied.
"I'll help you find evidence, Gem. And we'll watch their every move. Do you want that?" he said to me.
"Edward, just let me be. I have my reasons for doing all of this," I told him and then averted my gaze from him.
