After almost an hour of texting Edward, I received another message from him saying that he was outside the house. So I went out of my room to meet him downstairs.
Luckily, I didn't see Jin and Emma downstairs.
After letting Edward in, we went straight to my room.
"Don't you want to talk downstairs? Why did you bring me here to your room?" he asked me.
"It's better for us to talk here, Edward," I replied to him.
He nodded and walked towards the bed, sitting down.
"So, what are we going to do now?" he asked.
"I want to go into my stepmom's room first. But the problem is, I don't know anyone in the company who I can ask anything to," I said.
"I will investigate too, Gem," Edward replied.
I nodded my head. "There's only one thing I'm sure of right now," I said.
"Sure of what?" he ask
