"Oh! He's the guy who kept staring at you last night, right?" Amber turned towards me.
"Oh, yes," I answered briefly, my attention fixed on the guy running towards us with Amber.
When he reached us, he stood there, trying to catch his breath.
"I told you to wait for me this morning. Why didn't you wait?" Brandon asked, still panting from running.
"I don't want to wait," I replied curtly. "Let's go, Amber." I turned to Amber and walked away. Amber followed closely behind me.
"Hey! Please wait for me." Brandon hurriedly ran after me.
"Lady, why is your friend so cold?" Brandon nudged Amber and asked.
"That's just how Gem is. You'll get used to it soon."
"Is your name Gem?" Brandon asked.
"Yeah," I nonchalantly said.
"Finally, I know your name. I'm so happy." Brandon smiled sweetly
