"You Are Important"

{DarkRose's POV} Sounds would begin to leak in to DarkRose's sub conscious. This was due to her slowly beginning to awaken after several hours. As she slowly came to she would realize she could hear a steady heart beat close by. Remaining completely sill and quiet for a moment, she would realize that the sound of the heart beat felt strangely calming to her. It was then that her wolf also awakened, and began howling happily. "Mate! He saved us! See he won't hurt us! he's meant to love us and keep us safe!" Groaning internally DarkRose would finally open her eyes and turn her head to look around the place that Haru had brought her to. "Where am I, and why did you save me?" She asked as she sat up, her heart racing from both fear and nervousness. 'Did he save me only to sentence me to death in front of the whole pack?' She wondered silently as she looked to Haru, who was standing by the window. What with him knowing her secret, and her wolf howling incessantly inside her head, she was beginning to feel very overwhelmed, and very much so afraid that her life would some come to a sudden and abrupt end. "Please Haru... Please tell me why you saved me and brought me here? You clearly know my secret now. So why didn't you let me die out there in the snow, and save yourself the trouble of executing me publicly?" She hurled questions at him as her heart sunk into the pit of her stomach. Her eyes stung slightly as she wondered if a public execution was really what he had in store for her. She could feel tears trying to well up in her eyes, but she fought them back as she refused to show him any weakness. "Just tell me what your plan for me is, please!?" She would yell at him as she'd get up off the bed he'd placed her on. "I know you felt it too out there! I know you felt that we're meant to be mates, but I also know that you now know I'm the product of our most sacred law being broken! So please just turn around and answer me dammit!" She kept yelling at him as she barely even gave him a chance to respond in between each sentence when she would take a breath.                                                                                  {Haru's POV} Haru stood there at the window as she woke up and started asking questions immediately. Many of his own questions would flow through his mind as his inner wolf growled. 'This is our chance. Mate with her and mark her as ours!' He would howl inside of Haru's head as his body subconsciously reacted. He would start heating up as he shook his head. While she was asking so many questions, Haru would turn and slowly start walking to her. With each question he got closer and closer to her. His inner wolf got hungry and growled 'I want her now. Take her as ours!' It was the only thing he could hear. It was then that he was directly in front of her as he grabbed her chin gently, and looked into her eyes. Touching her made his body crave her more, but he would try to fight it off as much as possible. He sighs as he started to speak to her. "You ran from your alpha even though I told you to stop..." He said with a soft expression. But wait... He said she ran from HER alpha. Did that mean he still viewed her as part of the pack? "Why would you run away? Do you really think i am going to kill you? I'd much sooner let you kill me before that were to happen." He said as he looked deeply into her eyes.                                                                                  {DarkRose's POV} She could feel her wolf clawing at her insides, as if she wanted to get out and greet the one destined to be her mate. Though she knew she couldn't allow that, as she was sure there was no way in hell Haru would ever want a hybrid for his mate. Though his getting closer to her with each question she asked did not help her situation any. Her wolf may have wanted to accept this, but DarkRose wasn't even sure what the hell was going to happen to her, let alone if she even wanted a mate in the first place. "I... I ran out of fear..." She admitted to him to answer the first of his questions. "I thought for sure that you would kill me for what I am..." She murmured the last answer as she lowered her head to look at the floor. Hearing that he wouldn't have sentenced her to death did make her feel a small glimmer of hope come to life in her heart. Even though his nearness, and his touch was sending electrifying tingles through her body, and causing her heart to feel as if it would jump out of her chest. "I'm sorry alpha..." She murmured as her violet hued eyes seemed to bore a hole into the floor. "Please forgive me for my mistake?" She would find herself practically begging as she would bow to him, and not rise until he would say to. "I told you he wouldn't kill us!" Her wolf would shout excitedly in the back of her head. "No need to say I told you so..." DarkRose would reply to her wolf internally, a bitter tone her words. "I know he's meant to be our mate and all. I know you're excited to have someone to call mate, but there is no way in hell he will accept us, a hybrid, as his mate. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if he rejects us this very morning..." She would mumble in her mind as a response to her wolf's low whine at her harsh tone before.                                                                              {Haru's POV} Haru listened to her words and frowned as he moved closer making her back rest against the wall as he leaned in and whispered in her ear. "I am your alpha... Do not mistake my personal decisions for my leadership decisions. I do what I must for the good of the pack, and right now we need you. You are our strongest female. You are brave, smart, and you have the respect of people in the pack. You earned that... Not some secret you had." His warm breath would gently brush up against her ear and a bit of her neck as he whispered to her. "With that being said you will return with me. And you will not disobey or argue..." He would catch her scent in his nose, but why was it stronger than before? Why did it smell sweeter than it used to? What in the hell was going on? His inner wolf would chuckle and growl low. 'She is so close. Your body is subconsciously acting on its own. Just look at what you are doing.' He said in Haru's mind, and almost like that he  seemed to snap out of a trance. Haru realized his hand was on her neck in a gentle non-threatening way. He would quickly remove his hand as he turned around and huffed to himself. "Get ready... We are leaving..." He said in a cold tone. 'You coward.. You can't tell that you make her tremble just by the way you talk to her at times?' His wolf would growl in an angry tone.                                                                             {DarkRose's POV} DarkRose was forced to stand and back up until her back was pressed against the wall as Haru moved closer to her. Her eyes would rise to meet his as he would lean in closer to her. Causing her heart to start racing once more. His hot breath blowing across her ear and neck would send little shivers down her spine. His hand resting lightly upon her throat would send tingles all through her body as she'd begin to feel like she was on fire at her core. In the back of her mind she could hear her wolf moan longingly and she'd shoot it a glare as she'd try to fight the urges of her body. Which was only made all the more easier by Haru's next words. 'What!? That tone... Those words... He's only keeping me alive because the pack needs me...' Was all she could think as her heart would begin to sink into her stomach once more. Then, as if he'd snapped out of a trance, Haru was pulling away from her. She immediately looked down at the floor as tears threatened to well up in her eyes yet again. 'I was such a fool to think he'd truly accept me for who I am...' She'd think as she could feel her heart breaking slightly. The one glimmer of hope that had ignited in her heart immediately being snuffed out. It was becoming all the more clear to her. She would never truly be safe, and it seemed as though she sure as hell was never going to find happiness. 'I have no choice... I have to return with him. If i don't then he may just kill me here and now...' She thought as she would stand up straight and raise her head to just stare ahead of her. An emotionless blank look on her face as she hid her true emotions. "I'm ready alpha..." Came her empty emotionless reply to his order for her to get ready.                                                                              {Haru's POV} Haru would place his hand on his chest as he sighed softly, the pain was killing him... Both figuratively and very literally. The many battles he had fought over the years. Not eating so everyone else could. It was catching up to his body. He would shake his head as he started walking towards the door. "Lets go then... We need to make sure everything is... Everything..." Just like that Haru would fall hard on one knee. Only keeping himself propped up through sheer will. 'You will die... The heart break must be too much for your body. The reason she isn't dying is because she is actually eating, and being smart you fool...' His inner wolf would sigh as Haru would start coughing up a bit of blood. 'Oh? Or maybe your body is... Rejecting itself somehow? Your secret wont last for long if you keep this up. Because you'll be dead...' Haru tried to force himself to stand as he huffed heavily, blood dripping from his lips as he growled. 'Do you think she would try and save you? After what you just told her? A woman scorned is a very lethal thing.' His inner wolf laughed and cackled. "D... Dammit...'' Haru would sigh quietly.                                                                          {DarkRose's POV} When Haru fell to his knee all DarkRose could do was stand there and stare. She felt nothing... It was as if every emotion she had felt a minute ago just faded to nothingness. Her heart beat normally, and her breathing was even. Her eyes no longer stung. Nor did she feel the need to help the one who basically rejected her without saying the official words. "Help him Rosie! He's dying!" She could hear her wolf howling at her inside her head. "No... You heard him... We're only here and alive out of necessity... He doesn't want us around... He hates us..." She replied to her wolf, who whimpered pitifully at her. "He's dying because he's not accepted nor rejected us as his mate. If he keeps on like this we will die too... He must either accept us, or reject us if he or us is to continue on living. He must do so within a fort night, or it will be too late for us all." Her wolf told her, her wolf's tone sad. "Well then I guess we'll die as well..." Was all that DarkRose said back to her wolf before moving from where she stood and walking out the door. Straight past the kneeling and bloody Haru. Her emotionless reactions being the cause of her basically turning off her human emotions so as to not have to feel them. Though she could just as easily switch them back on if she so chose. However at this time the chances of that were highly unlikely.                                                                                {Haru's POV} Haru looked at her walk away as he tried to stand but only fell back to his knee. "Dammit DarkRose!" He coughed up more blood as he then started to fall to the ground. "You're.. Important... To me..." He struggled as he tried to crawl to the door, and whispered softly as he said it subconsciously. 'Haru!? Dammit. This isn't just the heart break... Your sickness is getting worse.' His wolf would growl as Haru would grit his teeth. "No.. " He growled as he would carefully stand up and lean against the wall, heavily breathing, and waiting until his body had calmed down. He Then wiped the blood away from his mouth. Anger soon taking the place of sadness as he growled and would slam his fist against the wall, making a large crack in the brick. Haru walks out of the house as he was very cold, the only thing he had to say to DarkRose was a simple sentence. "And just so you know. I meant you are needed because you are important to me. Because hybrid or not. I need you. But seeing you leave me there...." He had a stoic expression. "I guess i really can't trust you..." He felt his heart want to shatter as he didn't think she would be so cold.                                                                              {DarkRose's POV} Hearing those words... Hearing Haru say she was important to him caused her to stop in her tracks. "See, he does care..." She would hear her wolf say softly. She could feel her wolf's sadness, but she didn't care. All she wanted was to resume her daily duties, and to perhaps try and have some fun for a change. "If he cares then he shouldn't have made us feel as though we're only being kept alive and around for the good of a pack that either hates us or wants to f**k us!" DarkRose would find herself snapping back at her wolf. The second she turned off her emotions she stopped caring about anything except keeping herself alive. If Haru truly didn't want her around then she would leave the first chance she got. After all she could easily be replaced by any other warrior in the pack. She could hear it when he gained his strength back enough to punch the wall. She could hear the brick crack, and the pack bond that everyone in the pack shared let her feel his rage. "Hm." Was the only sound that came from her as she heard him walk out of the house. Her body instinctively turning to face him as if readying for a fight. She would hear his words, and a rage would begin to build inside her as her wolf would whimper and seem to cower away inside of her head. "You need me huh? Sure doesn't seem like it. Feels like you only want to keep me around to keep yourself alive!" She spat the words at him. Her violet eyes seeming to burn with her own rage. "If I were truly important to you then you wouldn't have been so cold to me in there. Though it matters not. It's clear you only truly want me here so I can fight in your stead since you're clearly too sick to do so yourself!" Her voice never once raised from a normal volume. However her tone was just as cold as his. "You can't trust ME!? How about the fact that I can't trust ANYONE!? Huh!? Everyone who finds out what I am just wants to f*****g kill me! I'm constantly looking over my shoulder, never letting anyone close, so as to keep myself alive! How's that for not being able to trust!?" She hurled her words at him before spinning back around and storming off into the forest. Hoping to make it to her cabin before Haru could think of a retort.                                                                                      {Haru's POV} Haru watched her storm off as he looked away "Hah..." He would make his way back to the pack. "I am too sickly hm?" He said as he looked down with a sigh "I am failing as an alpha...If only I had just..." He was interrupted by his own body coughing up a bit of blood. He quickly walked inside his cabin sitting down in his chair as he wiped the blood away. "I am sorry DarkRose... I am truly deeply sorry..." He closed his eyes as his breathing was heavy yet shallow. "Perhaps it's better to let go... The bond will break and she could live..." He said as he smiled slightly. His inner wolf, for the first time, would whimper with a deep shared sadness. 'Indeed... She would live if we were to die first, but is this truly what you want?' His wolf would ask him a question that Haru had no problem answering. "Yes. If its to keep her alive then yes... The pack is important, but she is even more so. You know... Even before the bond was created. I felt a strange... Connection with her." He sighed softly as his breathing started to slow down. He laughs to himself thinking that he was an i***t. "I wonder... How everything will turn out once I'm done. Her emotions seem to be void. So perhaps she will not care that I am gone..." He breathes out slowly.                                                                          {DarkRose's POV} DarkRose paced around inside her cabin. Her thoughts a storm of rage as she replayed the events of the past twelve hours in her mind. As beta of the pack she was actually supposed to be out helping to train warriors with the alpha since it was morning. Yet she didn't care. She was too angry at Haru to care. Though her pacing and fuming was soon interrupted as her wolf would let out a low whine, and DarkRose would suddenly begin to feel much weaker than before. 'What the hell?' She though as she moved to sit on her bed as she didn't have but one chair, and it was full of books at the moment. "It is the mate bond... He's weak, and so we're growing weaker... He hasn't accepted us as his mate, and so all of us will grow weaker as the mate bond makes us as if we are like one. It makes us stronger when accepted." Said her wolf in the back of her mind. Though her wolf even sounded like she had to struggle to communicate now as well. 'Great!' Was all DarkRose could think in response as she decided to lay back on her bed and stare at the dusty wood ceiling. She'd never realized how much she didn't have the time to dust anything in her hut before then, but now she did. "I swear if we survive this I'm cleaning this place from top to bottom." She told herself as she grumbled grumpily. "Rosie be warned... The rest of the pack will soon be able to sense that their alpha is growing weak through the pack bond... If that happens they will try to over throw him by saying he isn't fit to be alpha... We must not let that happen, lest a tyrant take over and do evil things to the pack." Her wolf told her before going silent once more. "f*****g lovely..." Came DarkRose's response to what she was told. Getting up she would take a few deep breathes and gather as much energy as she could. Then she would storm out of her hut, and over to Haru's which was right next door to hers. Knocking on his door she'd wait for him to answer. She was still angry, but she had to agree with the last bit that her wolf had told her. Which meant she couldn't let it happen, no matter what.
