Chapter 38After suffering anxiety over what was suitable to wear to meet a vampire, a lack of available time found me dragging on a pair of faded blue jeans and a bright pink t-shirt with a 'Hello Kitty' logo. Both Caleb and Rafe had assured me I didn't need to dress formally and Caleb reassured me he would be wearing the jeans and t-shirt he'd worn all day.
I made it downstairs with only ten minutes to spare, only to find the rest of the family had gone ahead and vacated the house for the meeting.
