CHAPTER 15
The wedding went smoothly. Everything happened when it was supposed to happen. Amos had been thrilled to be included in the ceremony. The cake had been cut. The part with the brides and grooms had been divided and saved for each couple. The little boy had been included in David and Bertha’s share. David had signed the papers his lawyer had drawn up for Amos’ adoption the day before. There would be a hearing when they returned from their honeymoon.
David and Mike had hired a limo and driver to take them all to the airport to catch their flights, one to Florida and one to New York.
