David had a car seat fitted in his car for Amos. He went by the Thorton home to pick up Bertha, Charlie and Amos to take them to his parents for supper. Bertha started to tell him they could take their own car because of the car seat. “I have a car seat in my car,” replied David. “I had it installed today.” “You had a car seat installed?” asked Bertha surprised. “Of course,” declared David. “Amos is part of my family, now. I am in this for the long haul.” He drew Bertha close and gave her a hug and a quick kiss. He looked down at Amos, who was watching them with a huge grin on his face. “Hi,” said David, picking Amos up and giving him a hug, too. “Are you ready to meet your new grandparents?” Amos nodded happily.
