CHAPTER 3
Will’s brothers, David and Mike, came by to see him after work.
“Dad said to tell you he would be by later. He wanted to go home and get cleaned up first,” said David.
“How are your eyes? Are you seeing any clearer?” asked Mike.
“Everything is still blurry,” said Will. “The doctor said it would take a few days before they could see how much damage has been done.”
While they were talking, Alison peered around the door into the room. Will heard the door open and looked toward it. Mike and David both turned and looked to see who had entered. When they saw Alison, they smiled and said hello.
“Hi,” said Alison. “I came by to see how Will is doing.”
“I’m okay,” said Will. “Alison, these are my brothers, David and Mike. Guys, this is a friend of mine, Alison Street.”
