Aiden’s POV: This is it. I finally brought Eowyn to meet my parents—my mother, especially. There’s no turning back now. Whatever this relationship is becoming, it’s real. I knew my mother would be thrilled—she’s been begging me for years to “bring someone home,” as she says. I swear she nearly passed out from joy the moment she saw me walk into the mansion with Eowyn beside me. Her reaction didn’t disappoint. Her entire face lit up, and before I could even properly introduce them, she squealed, pulled Eowyn into a tight embrace, and all but dragged her into the living room—leaving me standing there like a forgotten accessory.
