And so Sophia continued to reminisce over the days when she had her dad by her side. It was one of the best days of her life. Although her Dad is not always at home while she was growing up but whenever he is around, he sure makes up for the days of his absence.
One if the things that interests Sophia alot is the moonlight stories her Dad will always share with them before they go to bed. Sophia's Dad worked at the big City and comes back occasionally to visit them in the Village. His visits is always celebrated like when a king visits his kingdom.
Sophia's Mum cooks a delicious pot of rice and Chicken Stew. Anytime this food is prepared,it means Dad's gonna visit. Nnaemeka would always sneak out to have time with the kids as his wife won't let him be. "The kids misses me as much as you do my lady but not to worry, I won't take too much time, I would just share one or two stories with them and then I would be right back" These words are Nnaemeka's routine lines to his wife Obianuju and she can't help but let him go after all the kids need to bond with their father as well.
Daddy when will you stop travelling so you can always be here to tell us more stories, Sophia asked. But Nnaemeka avoided the question and continued with his story...... But Daddy there is something I want to tell you
