A warm glow illuminated Genevieve's features in the darkness of her bedroom. Her eyes carefully watched the flickering piece of flame that floated on the mouth of the lighter.  She lost herself into the bright orange color. So much so that her finger slipped from the button of the lighter, and as a result, the small fire disappeared into thin air. It was then that she registered a faint throbbing on the tip of her thumb. That may have been because she was pressing down on it with too much force. Genevieve's thumb found the button again, and the droplet-shaped flame ignited once more.
