The moonlight coming inside from a small hole in the wall made a strange light on what Eki saw. Kunle lay down flat, not conscious, on the cold stone floor. Eki saw a person dressed all in black standing over him, holding a shiny knife. Fear felt like the taste of metal, taking control of Eki's mind and body completely. It was cold and not like the old, dusty smell in the long hallway. She had many problems with her fear because she wished to protect her friend.
