Revenge is Sweet

Davids´ POV

"I think revenge is best served on a chilled platter", I said recovering aswell from the shock and guilt that I felt from everything that we had just learned from the one who could have become my mate, had I accepted her. I could of saved her. I was too engrossed in the title that she had to even have think that she would be a good mate or not. I never thought of what her personality would be like, or who she even was. All I saw was that she was an Omega, worthless.

Now seeing the fighter in her, how she fought to stay alive and recieved so much pain from those who should have been there to care for her, I was one of those that hurt her the most. Tore her apart with a rejection. I felt like s**t, but I would help my Alpha and his now Luna have the peace and happiness that they deserved. Now I felt even more tied to my Luna, even more than when I felt the mate bond. I would give my life for her. Be it my job or not., I would repay the pain I had given her all those months back.

"Well I didn´t expect less from you." Zack said coming to my side clapping me hard on the back, kind of reminding me that this was partly my fault, "We will have fun with these bastards and make sure that they know exactly who they are dealing with and who they have crossed."

Zacks´ POV

Hearing david speak of revenge when he saw how my mate was treated ignited something in me that I never felt before, Jealousy. Why was I jealous? Why did I feel this when David spoke as if he wanted to defend and revenge what had been done to my mate? Then it hit me like a brick wall, he had been her second chance mate and they ha shared a conection of sorts before he threw her away, just like the first bastard did. Though I am grateful because I was able to find my mate I am still wary that he may still feel something for her.

"Well I didn´t expect less from you," I say clapping him hard on the back, as if to remind him whos´she is and to back off a bit, "We will have fun with these bastards and make suyre that they know exactly who they are dealing with and who they have crossed." I say a low growl coming from my chest.

"Let's have some fun!!" Damon said.

The next day that Zack woke up the first thing he did was look over to his beautiful mate, she was still asleep on her hospital bed, the bruises were still there but were healing much faster than he had expected. He had fallen asleep while checking up on her last night after making the necessary plans as to how they were going to manage the situation of this Goddess forsaken pack.

Getting up from the sofa where he had fallen asleep, he noticed that he had been covered with a light blanket that had been at the for of the hospital bed last night. Also noticing that his mate was shivering on the bed with just a thin sheet covering her, he quietly took the blanket and covered her trying to not wake her up. But to his suprise she was already awake.

"Good morning" she said groggily.

"I'm sorry you had to sleep on the couch because of me, you could have gone home as to not make yourself more tired!" she said in apology.

"Don't ever say that, you do not have to apologize to me and much less because I wanted to stay with you" I said so she would know that she is everything to me.

"I had thought you might be cold so I put the blanket over you", she said housing a shy smile behind her hair.

"thank you, but you should have covered yourself first, I know how cold this place can get, I didn't think about asking for a thicker blanket for you I am sorry beautiful" I said, really feeling sorry that I hadn't thought ahead that she would be cold.

"Don't say that I was fine" she said trying to make me feel better for being a horrible mate and not taking care of her when she needed it.

"Speaking of that, why did you get out of bed you are supposed to be resting, you are not going to school today at least not that one," I said with finality.

She looked astounded at what I had told her, and said," I cannot miss any school I will get into so much terrible for skipping school, it is a privilege I can't pass up!"

" who said you were skipping? I said you were not going back to that school, my father has already arranged for you to switch universities!! And also you will be inducted into our pack as future Linda by my side as soon as you are well enough!" I said giving her the surprise that my father had given me last night before I came back to Maxine.

"But will your pack accept me? I'm a nobody!" she said amidst the years that were falling down her cheeks.

"They already do, and don't worry about your old pack they will get what's coming to them for what they have done!" I half growled out but stopped myself when I saw the fear in his eyes, I just went closer to her embracing her in my arms to calm my Wolf. I didn't want her scared of me never in a million years would I hurt her knowingly.

Her sobs subsided, clutching to my shirt,"What will you do to them?" she asked almost in a whisper.

"Nothing they don't deserve!" I said with finality.
