Her Hell

Maxines' POV

" Max, Babe, please tell me who did this to you and don´t try and protect anyone!" Zack pleaded.

"Can you tell us what happened Sweetie", asked the Luna with concern in her eyes.

"You really don´t have to worry about this. It´s nothing, this happens almost every day since before I can remember, I guess i deserve it." Maxine said looking at the bedsheets as if they were the most interesting thing in the world. She also knew that if the Alpha would find out that she had said something to any outsider that she would be in BIG trouble getting back to the packhouse.

"You can´t mean that! No one deserves this kind of "treatment"! Exclaimed Zack, enfuriated that his mate was treated as a punching bag for Goddess knows how long.

´What do you think dad?´ Zack mindlinked his father, as he just sat there gripping tightly as posible without hurting his mates hand.

Í think it´s time to go and see where you will be staying for the next few days son!´mindlinked his father with a devilish smirk on his face, to which Zack knew exactly what his father had in mind.

"What time is it?" asked Maxine suddenly, as if remembering something really important to be done.

"It´s almost 3 o´clock, Why my love?" asked Zack caringly, after looking at his wristwatch.

Maxine all but ran from the bed groaning from the discomfort, throwing the sheets on the floor, just as she reached for the door Zack laced his arms around her midsection and asked, "Where exactly do you think you are going Beautiful?"

"I need to get back to the pack house, I have to prepare luch for the pack and they will not want it to be late." She said as she tried to get out of his grip, nervously fidgeting and looking at his watch.

"I will take you, apparently, I will be living in that packhouse for a couple days! I don´t see the use for it now that I have you but all the better to be near you. What do you think?" Zack asked looking at his father for approval.

"I don´t think that the Alpha would like that... I am just an Omega..." Maxine said hesitantly.

"Nonsense, he will have nothing to say, and if he does we will all be there to find the solution." said Zacks Dad, not giving way for a discussion.

Walking out of the infirmary of the university, the Alpha and Luna were shocked to see and hear how many students and faculty had something either to say or gave Maxine horrible looks. No one seemed to mind that the people she was with would hear or see what they were doing or saying. Being a Strong Alpha and Luna, they hid their power around other packs, just to see the reaction they could get. Having kind of thought that they could find out really what was going on in this pack, they found it down right disrespectful how they treated a packmember, when they thought no one of power or of consequence was looking. The visiting Alpha and Luna would never treat any packmember in that fashion, didn´t matter how low of rank they were all treated they same, with respect and dignity.

"These are just the worst packmembers I have ever seen." stated Zack as he entered his jeep after helping Maxine into the back passenger side seat and buckling her in. His Beta got in the drivers seat and his Gamma sat in the passenger front at full alert as they pulled out of the university parking lot, following Zacks´ parents car to the packhouse.

All was silent on the drive as Zack was just brooding a plan on how to get back at the bastards that had done this to his beautiful mate, she said it didn´t matter but for him it was the exact opposite. I mattered and it mattered alot. He had waited for so long for his mate, he had even thought that maybe she was never going to be found or that he didn´t have a mate, it an ll just turned out that he had just looked in the wrong place at the wrong time.

That time when his pack had been invites to the Blood Howlers pack, he had been on a trip to another pack looking for his mate. Had he known that she was just one territory over he never would have gone that far to look for someone that was literally under his nose.

As they approached the packhouse, Maxine became more and mora anxious. She didn´t know how she was going to explain coming back with the Alpha, Luna and Future Alpha of the Crystal Lake Pack. She was beyond scared. How was she going to do this.

Zack sensing his mate going into a nervous reck, just held her hand giving it a gentle squeeze in reassurance that everything would be fine, He would make sure of it.

Getting out of the Jeep, Damon and David did a rapid security sweep before opening the door for their future Alpha and Luna. Just as Maxine put a foot out of the Jeep, she bolted for the front door, running as fast as she could to get to the kitchen before the Alpha could find out that she had not made lunch yet. But no such luck accompanied Maxine, just as she made it inside the kitchen she was knocked to the grown with a punch to the face by her Alpha.

He was furious, rage was visible in his eyes as he punched and kicked Maxine until he was forcefully removed from the kitchen, leaving behind an unconscious Maxine in a bloodied and battered state on the floor.

This was her hell.
