Adrian’s POV
It was quiet late that night when Elena and I decided to get up and go to the kitchen to see what we could russell up to eat.
We settled on a few light snacks of: cubed cheese, olives, a few prawns, mussels, gherkins and some slices of cucumber and ham.
We sat in the living room nibbling on the snacks and enjoying a glass of wine.
About an hour later, we had completed our latd night snack. I watched Elena pad across the living room in one of my shirts, the hem brushing her thighs, gathering up our abandoned wine glasses from the coffee table. She moved differently now, even in small domestic acts. Looser somehow. Like being loved had settled into her bones and given her a kind of private freedom.
