Emily kept staring like a statue as Raymond stood up from his seat and shook hands with the other man. His gaze kept wavering towards Emily.
She could feel it in her bones that he was going to come her way. Not only was Eleanor with her who would notice every interaction with him, but also Oliver would create a fuss if he came to know about it somehow. She cared less about the latter because if he could meet and greet anyone he wanted, why couldn’t she?
