The photoshoot was successful after multiple attempts and Emily was relieved to be finally able to leave the set and step away from Oliver. She immediately left after changing out of the dress and when Eleanor informed her that the shoot was done and, after editing, the photos would be published.
Emily sat in her car and drove back to her home. She reached home and was glad that her mother was gone out for chores and immediately she ran to her room, closing the door.
“What have I gotten into?” Emily said, closing her eyes and leaning against the door.
She glanced at the engagement ring on her finger and tears began to flood her eyes. It was a fake engagement but the ring looked very real on her finger. She couldn’t deny that she had wanted to be engaged some day to the man of her dreams
