I JUST MISS MY MUM

I went to the kitchen to prepare myself coffee, when i heard the door open.

I poured the coffee into my mug and drank it all in a gulp, then went back to the sitting room, where i was hearing voices and laughter. .

''welcome'' i greeted him, looking at the girl he came home with, this was normal, this was what he always did.

Looking at me in shock for being able to disobey him by leaving the room , which was something i never did. When they were by the room door, i jiggled the keys for them to know the room was locked and that was when he lost it! i had him display himself in front of the wife to be or was this just one of the usual side chicks? he angrily left her, and held me by the neck, hitting me against the wall treatening to kill me, my eyes pooped out in shock, i gasped for breath but found none, i saw my ancestors awaiting my arrival, i saw heaven and i saw hell..

Jackson'' she shouted his name and he quickly left me

She looked at him and then looked over at me, then, elegantly taking long strides she walked over to me, , she stood so close that our nose were touching, i looked at her afraid of what she would do, my back was against the wall, Jackson was by the side. She leaned closer again and i tried to push her away but it kind of excited her the more, she smiled liking the way i pushed her, it made me feel like a prey... My heart was beating inside my chest, i held the key strongly, just incase that was her reason for wanting to do this, whatever this is..

She put her hands on my waist and drew me closer to her, " inhaling my scent" , she sighed happily,

I stood outside and tears could not come out, instead i was happy. Why? Maybe because i was not going to be beaten again or be around when he brings his whores, i was happy because i was definately not going to to be around for his marriage.

I looked at her in horror, who was this young man? Could it be Jackson? Could it be he had changed!! Could it be it was just a prank? I collected the card from the sales girl and saw a card with a message "sweet dreams" my heart began to thump harder in my chest, i knew who it was , seems like i was being stalked, Was he watching me. Was he here?

I knew for a fact that this was the man that called me earlier this afternoon. Dont ask me how, i just know.

I tore the letter, stood up and left leaving the confused sales girl standing. When i got outside, i took the phone and ordered an Uber and then put a call across my mother.... I just miss my mum and that feeling of a home.
