CLAIRE ANDERSON The hallway is empty, and I press my back against the cold wall, trying to catch my breath. My hands are shaking, my heart is pounding, and I can still feel his grey eyes on me, watching me like I'm nothing. He knows what we did. He knows I gave him my virginity. And he's going to pretend it never happened. I press my hand to my mouth and try not to cry, but I fail. The tears come hot and fast, streaming down my cheeks as I slide down the wall until I'm sitting on the cold floor, my knees pulled up to my chest. I don't know how long I stay there.
