Chapter 7 “Aunt Lydia, I’m going to work in the barn for a while,” Lotte called to her aunt right after breakfast. It wasn’t normal for her to spend so much time in the barn, but with the harvest only days away, she knew no one would question her. “Fine. I’m heading into town and taking your cousins with me.
