He watched as the prettiest girl in school sat alone, her face buried deep in a thick book as she curled her hair around her index finger in anticipation of whatever it was she was reading. He watched as she anxiously bit her lip as she turned the pages. He didn't mean to stare at her as hard as he was, but he couldn't help it. She always caught his attention and he didn't even know her name.
"So what do you think?" he was snapped back to reality when someone waved their hand in his face. He sighed looking over at the current fling he had been meaning to get rid of.
"About what, Sweetness?" he asked bored.
"About prom," she laughed waving a catalog in his face. "What colors are we going to wear, crazy?"
