Joanne immediately clamped the IV tube and hit the emergency call button.
A nurse rushed in moments later. Joanne gestured sharply toward the discolored fluid. "What's the meaning of this?"
The nurse gasped audibly when she saw it. "This was completely normal during my rounds five minutes ago..."
Joanne knew instantly—that suspicious nurse from earlier had tampered with it.
The top priority was determining what had been mixed into the IV and whether it would harm Kyle.
