I rushed to the crying baby, held her face in my hands, and said, "Nana, honey, look at me. We are not disgusted, but the way you eat looks a little bit funny, like a caveman who has been starving for ages. Why didn't you get your frustration on Danny?" I said while I was hugging her.

"I did... sniff''. she said through her pouting lips. She really looks funny and disgusted with the apple juice all over her mouth. I'm trying to hold myself back from laughing at her.

She looks at me while skulking, ''Laugh, Jass; you can laugh too, Mom; don't hold your laugh." We shook our heads but burst out after that.

"Ha-ha... omg, Nana, when you finish your hormonal swing and remember what you said or did, you will be so embarrassed. Now go wash your face and eat something useful, and when you finish and become sober, we will talk... Now shoo," she huffed, but stood up and went to the washroom.

Sarah was shaking her head in disbelief at her daughter's childish behavior. Then she looked at me and gestured for me to sit beside her on the left side of the bed. I sat beside her, and she held my hands, patted them, and smiled warmly.

''How are you doing, honey? And how was your first day of teaching?" Her tender voice engulfed me, and it was warm.

"I'm good, Sarah, and about the teaching thing, hm... it wasn't as terrifying as I thought it would be.”

She chuckles at me and says, "Jass, I told you it wouldn't be as bad as you thought. What was the student's reaction when they saw you?''

''Oh my god, Sarah, they were shocked. What did you do to make them hate you like this, Mrs. Novak?" She was looking at me with a smirk. Oh god, this woman.

"Don't bother to answer. How do you feel now, and when will you be discharged from the hospital?”

"My leg and ribs still hurt a little; the doctor will do the final checkup and say when I will be discharged."

''Ok, get well soon, Sae. By the way, Alex asked me about you!"

"What does this shameless man want?!!"

"How to win your heart?" I said it bluntly.

"Argh... Then I don't wanna know what he talked about." I was looking at her with raised eyebrows. She is not good at hiding her feelings right now. Her cheek is tinted red.

"Ha-ha, omlg Sae, we will talk after you are discharged and prepare yourself. He will woo you soon." She became more reddish if it was possible. I laughed so hard at her reaction.

I stopped laughing when the hospital room door was opened and Nattily stood there while munching a burger sandwich. When and how did she buy it? No idea.

"Nana, when and how did you buy that?" I asked her with curiosity.

''Oh, I was in the hospital canteen to buy some food, but I didn't find a food that I desire..."

Nana's POV.

How could they laugh at a pregnant woman? ... Sniff. I'm mad at them and will not talk to them.

Where is the damn bathroom? Did I get lost? No, not now. I'm not gonna cry. I will ask someone.

There was a nurse passing by, and she quickly called her. "Excuse me, could you tell me where the bathroom is located?"

"It's at the end of the alley; you just need to turn left, ma'am," she said with a warm smile.

"Thank you." I returned the same smile to her, and she nodded and went on her way.

I went to the bathroom. There was no one. That's a good thing. I headed to the sink, looked in the mirror, and a gasp left my lips. They were right. I look awful. Damn you, Danny!!

I washed my face, then dried it, and went to the hospital canteen to bring some food to eat for all of us, but I didn't find anything that looked delicious and suited my appetite.

Then a heavenly smell hit my nose. I searched for the source of the smell, then found some guy holding it, and he was about to eat it. That's when I lost it and started to cry loudly. He was startled; he thought I was in pain. I was in pain, but in a different way.

"Ma'am, are you okay, Nurse? Help, Nurse." The guy shouted to get the nurse's attention, "Wait, wait... sob... sob, I'm okay, but please, don't eat the burger sandwich." I pleaded while holding his hand. He was speechless; he thought I had lost my mind.

"You were crying because of the sandwich!! Ma'am, you scared me to death," he sighs.

"Sorry, as you can see, I'm pregnant, and I smelled it; that's why I started to carve it. I will give you the money to buy another one, so can you give it to me, please?" I was pleading desperately.

"Here, take this. I bought two; take one, and I will have the other." I looked at him with pleading eyes. One is not enough.

"Go, ma'am, before I change my mind and take that one from you." I thanked him and took it.

End POV.

"That's all that happened." We were stunned and didn't know what to say.

"Why are you looking at me like this?" She asked the speechless people.

"Nothing, nothing at all, Nana, Ha-ha... Omg, woman, you are doomed. Danny will think a million times before making you pregnant again."

"You know Nattily till this moment; I don't know where you take this personality from,'' said Sarah, while looking at Nattily with slight amusement.

''Duh... from you, of course," she said, winking at her. Then Sarah held the plastic cup on the nightstand and threw it at her, but she avoided it and stuck out her tongue at her, which increased Sarah's anger.

"Get out, Nana, before I pull your hair out!" shouted Sarah at her.

"You won't, mom; you love me so much to do that," she said, giving her a flying kiss.

"Tell her to leave Jass before I do it."

"Ha-ha... You won't, Sae; you truly love her to do it, and her hormonal swing is so funny," and give a wink to Nana.

I looked at Sarah and gave her a kiss on the forehead. "I need to leave now, Sarah, to take the children from their granny's house."

"Okay, honey, say hi to them." I give her a nod.

"Get well soon, Sae, and you, Ms. Godzilla."

"What do you want, Ms. Bigfoot?"

"Take care of yourself and my niece."

"I will, and say hi to my little devils."

"Will do," I said, then hugged her.

I waved at them, went to the elevator, and pressed the floor button. When the elevator door opened, my phone rang, and the caller was my mother-in-law, so I answered the call.

"Sorry, Mom, I know I'm late. I will..."

"Mommy, we missed you," and here my heart goes with the wind. I smiled from ear to ear. If anyone looks at me now, they will think that I'm totally crazy.
