Chapter Four For Paula, opening the door to Bobby Ray Hatfield was more dangerous than petting a Pit Bull or having her brain fried on speed. Paula could have refused. Paula didn’t say no and Bobby didn’t force her into the closet, not by a long shot; nor did he do more than offer a nod toward its entrance. Paula followed his silent command of her own accord and even led the way overwhelmed by untamed s****l need that overcame her carefully crafted sanity. Once three feet inside the cramped space, she changed her mind, swung around to dash out, and inadvertently bumped into his chest before Bobby caught her in his arms. “Let me alone,” she protested, though she knew subconsciously he wouldn’t. Had they not been sparing for days? Didn’t her juices flow at his unrepentant s****l innuendos?
