After the conference was over, me, Lukas and Henry spoke with Sinclair about how we were going to join them in the Lycan kingdom to help solve the mist issue.

“So you guys can wait for us outside and drive behind us to my kingdom” Sinclair casually explained while glancing at me the whole time.

“Alright then, we will be waiting outside” Lukas shook hands with Sinclair in agreement before we turned to go outside.

“Hold on," Sinclair said in a firm tone, yet calming to the ears, “I want to speak to the girl alone please” he appealed with a confident look on his face.

This left my heart pounding more than usual. Why the hell did this handsome tall man want to speak with me alone?

I looked at Lukas, who gave me a reassuring nod before he and Henry walked out.

Still looking at an empty shadow of both Lukas and Henry. Sinclair cleared his throat, catching my attention.

In a little bit of shock, I immediately swung myself to the direction of Sinclair who had a big grin on his face. I tried not to make any eye contact with the giant man in front of me.

Before he spoke he first looked at his best friend beside him, Adonis, in what seemed like they were communicating through a mind link, before he walked away with a slight grin.

Sinclair then walked closer to me, looking more like a giant compared to me and I could clearly see his geogous blue eyes staring right at mine and his well defined muscles which all gave me goosebumps just looking at the man in front of me.

He first grabbed my hand and placed a soft kiss on it before stating “you must be a heck of a woman to be the alpha warrior of my most trusted pack” his smile comforting as he gazed right into my eyes.

I couldn't help but admire the handsome man in front of me. I haven't seen someone this handsome before in my life and his presence alone commands respect.

I said with a firm voice in an attempt to appear strong, “do you have a problem with a woman being the alpha warrior?” I questioned the massive man in front of me but he didn't seem bothered at all.

He said nothing for a few seconds making me rethink my tone, before he stated “quite the opposite, I like women who are outspoken and confident like yourself sweetheart” he said, making me blush uncontrollably at the sound of him calling me sweetheart.

“I'll be seeing you again soon sweetheart” his voice suiting my ears, giving me goosebumps before he walked away.

I stood there just smiling at the thought of the lycan king addressing me as sweetheart, I mean his the most gorgeous man I've ever seen, any woman would easily fall for him.

Standing there drowning in my thoughts, I hear a voice edging closer, calling out my name.

“Amelia” raising my head up, I immediately saw William making his way towards me, I pretended like I didn't hear or see him and started walking in the opposite direction towards the exit of the ballroom.

“Ame-amelia please wait up” William's desperate voice called out.

Rolling my eyes before I stop to turn around “what the hell do you want William” my voice hard making him startle.

“I've been trying to talk to you Amelia, but you keep ignoring me” his desperate voice says “I just wanted to let you know that I'm sorry for rejecting you, I obviously made a mistake and i want to fix things between us”

“I thought you were mated to Isabella now, why the hell do you want to apologize for?” I moaned out my frustration.

“I want to make things right Amelia, I want you back” he explains in a pitiful manner.
