Ares had already planned everything for our first proper date, we headed back down and Ares carried me bridal style on his body.
When we got downstairs, we told the others that we were heading out for a date. A woman was standing right at the door holding a picnic basket.
Ares walked over to her and grabbed the bag while still carrying me, “thanks Mary.” He said to the lady.
I just settled into Ares's huge body as he carried me effortlessly. We walked outside the castle, and Ares started flying; he kept going straight up.
Confused, I asked, “Where are we going?”
Ares said nothing and just smiled. I couldn't look down because I was pretty scared of heights so I just rested my head on Ares's neck and waited for the surprise.
