-LEENA- Alec was right about the rain. It's barely eight in the morning and the ground outside of the tent may as well be another pool of water with how flooded the ground is. And Alec is still sound asleep, the rain a metronome that's proven to keep him lethargic and quiet even on his most energetic days. It's both a blessing and a curse, allowing me to drink my fill of him while he's still, but also allows my mind to wander into places I'm not entirely comfortable with. Yesterday feels like a dream, and waking up curled into Alec's chest like I belong there sends a spike of confusing emotions ricocheting through my stomach.
