Camille's POV Seeing Tom pull away and safely shield him inside the car was the only thing that let me finally breathe a sigh of relief. As more and more attackers closed in, I could only curl up on the concrete, wrapping my arms tight around my head. I let them rain down kicks and punches. Slowly, warm blood began to seep from my forehead, and my vision started to blur. My consciousness drifted until I couldn't hold myself up any longer, collapsing entirely onto the ground. I don't know how much time passed, but eventually, someone shrieked, "Run!" and the mob scattered in all directions. I stumbled to my feet, wiping my eyes with the back of my hand.
