Camille's POV
I patted his little head. "Of course we can."
"Aren't you coming with me?"
"I'm still recovering, so I won't go mix in with the crowd."
Finn didn't press the issue. He just nodded obediently.
"Okay, I'll be right back after a quick look."
Before long, Finn came running back, practically bursting with excitement.
"Camille! Rowan's parents are incredible! They won first place in the footrace!"
My breath hitched for a fraction of a second.
"Rowan's... parents?"
Finn's expression shifted slightly, a mix of envy and disappointment crossing his face.
"Yeah. Rowan's been bragging to everyone at school about how his dad is the most powerful alpha and his mom is the most beautiful violinist. He says they're the best parents in the whole world."
