Rowan's little face twisted with stubbornness and arrogance as he turned his head away.
"I'm not apologizing to some cub who stole my mom!"
I had neither the patience nor the time to teach him a lesson right now.
"Since you don't want to take responsibility for your actions, get out of the way."
Maybe this really was my fault. I had constantly backed down and spoiled Rowan while raising him, which ultimately turned him into the rude, ill-mannered kid standing in front of me.
