He paused, a sick thrill flashing in his eyes.
"Even your own biological son is hovering around Lara. It won't be long before Lara becomes Rowan's new mom."
With that, Brad shot me a smug look and arrogantly turned on his heel.
"He's way out of line!" Elise was so pissed she almost charged at him, but I held her back.
I couldn't be bothered to waste time and energy tangling with a lost cause like him.
"Let it go, Elise. Don't let a loser like him get to you. I'm already talking to lawyers about breaking the bond and splitting the assets. It won't be long before I'm free."
