"Alright, if there's nothing else, hurry up and leave. Don't get in my way." He waved his hand dismissively with a look of disgust, then lowered his head again.
I gave him a slight bow, turned around, dropped the medicine into my bag, and left quickly.
After securing the medicine, I didn't waste a single second. I drove straight to the Aurora Group headquarters and intercepted Lucian in his top-floor office just as he was about to start a multinational conference.
I slammed the black wooden box onto his desk.
"I brought the medicine. Now, tell the Enforcers to release Elise."
Lucian put down his pen, his gaze falling onto the antique medicine box. A flash of suspicion crossed his eyes.
