Alpha Black POV: I am currently sitting in my office going
over some paperwork for the up coming Ball attempting to
handle these rogue attacks. When I hear a soft medley outside
my door.
(Pup is coming!! Gosh I love her voice. Our little warrior pup is gifted!!!) Maximus My Wolf Says
" I know and that's why she is going to make a great Alpha and mother some day to her own pups"
" Hey no pups yet too soon" Maximus growls out
I am pulled out of my thoughts when a soft knock comes to the door and I know It my
little warrior. “Come in my little warrior” I answer with a smile on my face.
“Hey Daddy!!! You're looking Handsome as ever Today.”
She beamed.
(Oh no not again!!!) I thought to myself as my smile falters.
(SHUT DOWN INCOMES TROUBLE. RETREAT) Maximus howls as he runs to the back of my mind
"You big puppy" I say with amusement in my tone.
(Speak for yourself I cant stand punishment from my mate again it's horrible) Maximus reminds me
" You're right" I agree with him in panic mode "Hey help me out here she's your pup too"
( who's the big pup now) Maximus says with his wolfish laugh ( Just be firm with her)
"Right ok I got this" I say blowing out a breath I didn't realize I was holding
“Whatever it is the answer is No.”
“But daddy you haven’t even heard what I want yet.” She
wined.
“Trust me I don’t need or want to. The last time you asked
me for something your mother grounded the both of us and I am
the alpha. You have no idea how torturous that is. So what ever
it is the answer is still NO.” I respond in a serious tone hoping she
would fall back but to no vail she continues...
“But Daddy I already spoke to mom and she is cool with
it.”
“Oh Really? She’s cool with eh....Uh-huh... and just how much of the truth did you NOT tell your mother for her to agree my little Hellion.”
“Ooohhh... Just that the training camp I want to go to
is for music.” She says while playing with her fingers.
(Yup!!! We're dead... mine as well prepare for a ruff week) Maximus wines

Pulling me from my thoughts once again she sighs with her big dough eyes...
“I see, and what in prey-tell is this camp for then?” I
asked
( You know fully well you should have left your answer at no. Our pup is too
smart for her own good. She knows she got you bated and hooked now she’s gonna reel in
the catch.) Maximus my wolf says.
"Can it mutt I got this" I yell at him
( Yeah sure you do) Maximus growled out sarcastically
”Its a training camp for combat. however we do get some
down time and in that free time I will work on music.”
She reels me in...
“Let me guess Kai and Nuebia are going as well?” I asked her
“Why...Y-Yes daddy, and Naomi, Jax, and Chris too. We stick
together you know.”
“ I should have known Night Shadow's own Hellions...
(sighing) First you must all keep your wolves a secret no
one can know that you can shift, and no one must know
who you are all together....and stay together at all times no
matter what. Now with that said how long is this trip and
when do you leave?” I asked
(SUCKER!!!) Maximus taunts while laughing at me
" Yup I caved..." I sighed in response
“OMG Daddy you are the best...and tell daddy Maximus so is he ”she said while jumping
into my arms like that of a child.
( AWE pup I love you too) Maximus says with a weep
"Who's caving now" I say chuckling
(SHUT IT SHE'S TOO CUTE FOR HER OWN GOOD) Maximus growled out
“So its too weeks and we leave on Friday and please don’t worry daddy we
have everything all figured out just like at school I
am your niece who came to stay with you after the
death of my parents. She told me.
(sighing) “Alright but when you return I want to see
improvement in all of you guys techniques and I want a
hit!!!” I told her with a smile.
“You got it Alpha” She laughed.
“Yeah right (I responded with a smug look on my
face)... “any now on to business I need to go over some
much needed information with you.”
“Ok what’s up daddy?”
“Well as you know the mating ball will also be your
coming out as no one is aware of your existence as my
daughter the next alpha of Night Shadow except your Godparents
and siblings if they remember for obvious reasons.”
(Dad is talking about the fact that I am a True
Harbinger Lycanthrope Alpha and my friends wolves are
Hellhounds. You See we were all born under a blood
moon. Crazy right, all of our moms having us together.
Anyway no one outside of my father, his 2nd&3rd in
command and our warrior head in our pack knows of our
wolves they all think my friends wolves are normal and
mine hasn’t surfaced yet. My father has the pack
believing that we train separately to help strengthen
our wolves and help mine surface. That’s right not even
our moms are aware. On the other hand because of my
wolf and status dad made sure that no one outside the
pack other than the king, queen, and their children
are aware of my existence.
We don’t want a war to start and I am
not strong enough to fight. The King and Queen of all
Werewolves are my Godparents and the coolest people
you'll ever meet. Although I haven’t seen them in twelve years. To
be honest I don’t even remember their kids names I just remember they
have twins.) Kandice thought to herself.
“Yeah dad I remember.”
“Well Your God father and I have decided to put things
in place for you in case of an emergency.”
“Things Like what dad!!!
“Now calm down its just simple things all alphas should
have in place. So There is a bank account in your name
that you will have access to, a house near your god
parents estate for you to go, along with other assets
to benefit you and the pack in the event something
should happen. The house has plenty of land and houses
around it incase the pack needs to lay low. NOT saying
you should but I need to make sure you are well
prepared. There will be info on how to get there here
in my safe as I am the only one with info to find it,
not even your godparents are aware of how to find it.
It is well hidden and before you ask he is aware that
your estate is near his but it isn’t registered due to
not being occupied at this time and location unknown,
however should you ever need to use it contact them
asap and he will help you from there.”
“Oh, I see... so everything is ok right you and mom
aren’t sick or about to get eaten by zombies or space
aliens and die while I’m gone right...”
“What are you kids watching these days....god your
imagination runs wild and no none of that. Just making
sure before you take over you are in good standing to
carry on as alpha.”
“Gotcha!!! well is that it or can we go train for a bit
before school starts and tell the gang about the trip?”
“Yes my little warrior I'll meet you on the old mill
camp grounds. I just need to make a few more important calls.”
