Corbin and I left the next day for New York where Corbin booked us a room at some luxurious hotel. He got absolutely no arguments from me when I saw the size of the room and the view we got at night. The hotel wasn’t too far from the theatre where Jaylin’s recital was being held and we found the place quite easy for people who haven’t been to New York. My heart skipped a beat when we pulled up in front of the theatre and I saw Sasha standing among all the people talking to Travis and Jaylin’s father. I haven’t seen her since I left New Orleans three years ago. We talk on the phone but not as much as we used to.
