As soon as I see Elijah move towards Jade, I scream out her name. Everything happened so fast.
One minute she's walking over to us and the next, she's lying on the floor bleeding out. Kaiden quickly dives onto the floor and brings her into his arms. "Jade, no. Baby please,"
I notice Elijah trying to crawl away like the vermin he is. Rage consumes me and I immediately storm over to him.
