“I never thought I’d be here, like this, with you,” I said with a smile. I stared out at the sea, the salty smell floating around us as my hair whipped back and forth around my eyes. The wind was especially strong today, the snow is long gone and spring starting to come soon, the promise of rain thick in the air.
