Chapter 11 Emilia woke up with her phone under her pillow and her mouth still remembering him. That was the first problem. The second was last night’s dress hanging off the chair like it had something to say. The third was the dull ache at her temple, the leftover from sleeping wrong after the concussion. The fourth was the text on her lock screen. Nate: Did you get home okay? That was it. No joke. No “about last night.” Just that.
