The Meet And Greet

                                                                                Crissy's Pov:

                                  Well today is very nerve wracking and stressful. I get to meet my new boss and co-workers. I'm excited as well don't get me wrong after all I wanted this but I can't stop sweating. I grab a quick pb&j d and head out the door with determination also setting in. When I arrive I am super star struck by how this restaurant looks. I had never ever been in a 5 star restaurant and I have to say this was beautiful. It was blue and purplish color on the outside and white with crystal decorations on the inside. The floor was glassy with the most beautiful stones set in the glass. They even had a V.I.P section.

"Hi, how are you? My names Ana and i'll be your wonderful waitress today! May I ask how many will be in your party today. We have tables available and V.I.P is also available", she said with the brightest smile on her face.

                            "Ummm no", I replied. I actually put in an application for lead chef and I am suppose to be meeting with Marquan and the rest of the crew. Would you happen to know where I could find him?" I said nervously but still gazing around at the same time. 

                        " Sure just have a seat here and I will let him know that your here and ready to go." said Ana still smiling as before. Damn this girl was good at her job. I almost ordered something just so she could be my waitress. I felt like things were already at a good start here. About five minutes passed when I felt a warm hand on my shoulder.

                       "Hi, Crissy I might assume?" said a man with a voice I swear I had heard before. I turned around and i'm pretty sure the my skin went from caramel to pale.

                     " Marquan as in Marquan Lacey?" I said barely stuttering the words out of my mouth.

                     " In the flesh, Hi how have you been." he said with a smirk on his face.

                     "Umm I have been good just living life. You know Tavias and I got married. No kids yet but we're working on it we just brought a new house and we are still renovating it so we have to have it right for ourselves before its right for a baby you know?" I said nervously pushing my hair back behind both my ears and trying not to show how close I was to a nervouse breakdown.

                   You see Marquan old boyfriend in middle school. Right before Tavias stole my heart. Me and Marquan were good together but he was always a little too flirty with other women. So when Tavias came around and showed me that he only wanted me I couldn't help the attraction. Marquan always hated me after that he wouldn't even speak to me or look at me. That was 12 years ago so i'm guessing he's over it by now since he's being all nice to me. I decide to loosen up and try to melt into the conversation as if i'm strictly just meeting my boss.

                  " How have you been its been quite some time hasn't it?' I said chuckling a little bit.  

                 " Great as you can see I own this beautiful 5 star restaurant. I never married although I am in the dating scene. My girlfriend actually is the waitress that you just met, Ana. " he said, smiling at her while she replied to it with a wave. 

                  " So as you can see I am so glad that you're here i just lost my head chef Timothy and I can't afford to be a head chef and be the owner of this store, I practically never have time to myself or to spend with Ana. So if you would like I would love for you to meet everyone and then come back at 10 p.m SHARP for the next 5 nights so you can make every dish on the menu. You can add your spin on things if you would like. I will have all the chefs that work here on those nights as well just as taste testers because I need to see how you work alone and under pressure. Will that be ok with you, are you still interested?" he said with a smile that was very inviting.

                " I'd love too", I said no longer nervous but super ecstatic. My first real job since having married Tavias. I was more than ready! I followed him around for the next 20 mins meeting all the other waitresses and the other cooks before he sent me home to get ready for tomorrow night.
