The Lady with an Arch

Her red hair was flaring in the sun, her eyes deep blue with long lashes that are nearly black at the tips, but a shift to auburn when it touches her skin. Eyes were focused and softly converged at the arrow which is slightly touching her snow skin while she stretches the string of the bow.

She bit her lower lip turning it red, she could hear her friend Lynn calling out on her from distance but then she let it all go by deep gasp through. She just let it all go and the arrow was thrashing in air.

Lynn Llyr shouted, (Llyr: water dragon)

"Huh! you missed it. The great Archer missed her aim."

Then he noticed the fox running, bush moved in front of them behind there was a rabbit. Hestia looked at Lynn with a smirk in her face.

Lynn "You was intended to save the rabbit from the fox, you pointed it to be missed."

Lynn always admired her elegance, especially in such moments.

"IT HAS BEGAN! It has BEGAN!" Hestia looked over in perplex to see Naila thrilled but Lynn being Lynn was like "What has begun?"

Both simultaneous looker at Lynn with widen eyes and yelled

"The competition!" together with harmony.

They rushed over to the Ember City where the competition was conducted.

The Kingdom of Tetrad were all the dragons of the air, earth, water and fire are all together as one. The Gaelle is the competition where the newly emerged dragons who have manifested their inner dragons reveal their powers and strength in the fight of Gaelle.

When Hestia step her foot in the Ember City, she could feel all the eyes on her and the whispers saying "She's here".

Being the only child of the King of Tetrad Angus Rhys a Fayre (Fire dragon) and the Queen of Tetrad Caily Sky Rhys a Serein (Air Dragon), which makes her the Princess and the Flakor (the guardian), Hestia Rhys who is supposed to be either a Fayre or Serein but she still hasn't found herself.

Mating between a Serein and Fayre is the first time in the history of Tetrad. They deemed to be mated in the same kind to avoid any disruption of harmony and peace in Kingdom but it had to happen for the resistance of the future. And Hestia is the first that hasn't been manifested her inner dragon.

Naila grabbed her hand and pulled her over "come on, we don't have any time to waste, It has already begun. Avis is showing off, as usual, the poor Huffle is barely breathing" said Naila by dragging her over to the front "Aither is just starting his appearance, he is doing well being this his first fight but still talking too much."

Hestia laughed and said,

"I can't believe Aither still makes his way through talking even in a fight".

He could sense her presence in the crowd. He had enough with Aither's prattle "Shut your filthy little mouth, or else I will shut it for you" said Avis being pestered.

Avis grabbed Aither in his hands and flew up in the sky and let him free to go. Aither falls through about to be fallen in the ground. Hestia and Naila were terrified.

Hestia shouted "Aither!!!".

When he was about to drop in the ground, he freed his wings and settled with a swing in the air.

"I am just messing with you guys," said Aither and chuckled.

The sound of Hestia made Avis desire her more, the mild rose scent that made him seek her just to get a glimpse of her heaven sight. He was eagerly searching for her.

"There she is my sweet," said Avis seeing Hestia was giggling as Aither was all joking over the field. This made him lost in time for a moment.

Aither saw it as a chance and flipped him and threw him out of the circle. Hestia and all applaud "Aither! Aither! Aither!"

Aither Sky a Serein (Air Dragon) who is her dear friend. He is her mother's side of Family Serein. They both grew up together and he was something that made her held on to life after her mother's tragedy. Aither reminded her of her mother.

Aither was running all over the field embracing the moment of glory. But this made Avis angry he stood up at once and flew right over Aither and started breathing fire at him which almost burned Aither's wings.

Hestia couldn't stand the sight of Avis playing his unfair game with Aither. She hasn't manifested her inner dragon yet but she still stood up against Avis, one of the strongest men in Tetrad all by herself with an arch. She's not even sure what she is as she's the only one among others left to manifest.

She's eminent as she's the daughter of Serein and Fayre. She held her arch and glanced at Avis with braveness in her eyes. Aimed right at his tips of wings and shoot an arrow at him. Avis was thrown across the wooden wall. Hestia then stepped over the field, helping Aither to stand up.

Avis stared firmly at her with his smouldering chestnut silent orbs of fury eye. Which made her even more furious and she shoots five arrows one after another he didn't look away. The arrows were all around the edges of his wings. Hestia noticed his bleeding from an arrow shot at right-wing. Seeing Hestia's concern he smiled at her care.

Hestia walked over Avis saying "don't tempt me to aim right into your heart, Avis".

Avis leaned over to her ears saying "you already have my Fayre (fire dragon), you already have."

Avis kissed her ear and softly bit the pinnae between his delicate lips.

This raged Hestia and she took further few steps while staring at him and walked away. Avis would feel her fierce, the Fayre in her blood steamed right at him. He took the pleasure of having an explicit acquaintance with her. But he didn't know why she would just let him go after he teased her.

Suddenly Hestia turned at him and looked right into his eyes that were taking the ease of tempting her and stretched her bow aiming right into his heart. Avis could hear her heart beating, at least this time it's for him deciding whether to punish him for his absurd behaviour. Both of them were fighting for their dominance, it isn't usual among women at the time. But she isn't just a woman, that made him admire her even more.

The one to one moment was interrupted by the King of Tetrad Angus Rhys, who was astonished seeing his daughter standing in the middle of the arena just with an arch in her hands. Angus could see his wife Cylia's audacity and courage in her.

But this isn't something that a Princess of Fayre (fire dragon) and next heiress of tetrad does. Angus didn't want a public scene where his daughter was responsible.

He spoke further,

"Avis Tyson was out of his mind and acted out. But now I think he understood his mistake. Hestia, you may please lower your arch."

Hestia didn't even take a glance at her father, she carried on staring into the blue shades of his eyes which was meant to charm her but she resisted on observing his every move, the way he enjoyed all of this.

"This is an order."

Hesia puy her arch down.

"I want your presence at the Ember Castle now," said Angus.

Hestia walked straight out of the field.

On the way Castle, all she could ever think about was the way Avis was looking at her, how he was insisted on her. The way he kissed her skin softly, he was like the crystalline river that I wished to be touched. She was enchanted by his allure. Avis could interpret every move that she made. It was like he could feel her, so does she.

Scene: Ember Castle

"Really Father, you have no idea what he was doing" yelled Hestia to Angus who was turning his back all this time that she was shouting at him.

She knew something was going on. Hestia continued rendering her thoughts about his actions.

"Do you even realise what would have happened, He almost burnt Aither. You can't just let him go. The rules should apply to every Tetradians, whoever that might be."

"even if he has to be your mate?" Angus uttered in silence afterwards.
