Lisa toiled away like this. Enriching barium sulfate with carbon, then heating it up and finally letting the sauce dry and pull it over a complicated rolling machine. This film was the basis for the nano-mesh. Fay helped her out, but in the last few days she was called in and out. She would disappear for half an hour or sometimes two hours. Lisa did not ask. She seemed to be a wanted woman.
A few times she came back visibly annoyed. She cursed the idiots and said that if she didn't take care of everything herself, the whole thing would have failed long ago. What the whole thing was, however, she kept to herself.
