Ritter left Ford Bragg after only three hours and his two bodyguards took him directly back to the airport. Eight hours later, Ritter's plane landed again in Altenrhein. After all, he had been in the pilot's seat himself for four hours on the return flight and had taken off the G550 as pilot-in-command, partly piloted it across the Atlantic and also landed it again. He had thus fulfilled his target for this quarter.
When he arrived in Altenrhein, he immediately called the banker Burghans.
"Package number one will follow an invitation from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry on the 30th of this month, next week, at the Houston Freedom Tower in Houston, Texas. The keynote speaker will be Mister Carl Simons, CEO of Oil Exploration Industries."
