Chapter 5
Ritter was sitting in the office in Berlin. Peter came in with a dossier. Although Ritter was well versed in computers, iPads, iPhones and the Internet, he sometimes preferred printed documents. Especially when he needed to think. Somehow his brain processed information differently when it was on paper.
The moment he accepted the hand file from Peter, the old man who emerged from the next room buzzed:
"How about knife training on your end?"
Ritter was no longer surprised about anything concerning Germüller. This question, however, only led to a stupid historical expression on his part. A visual 'huh' with three question marks.
"Fay Seymore. Martial artist, knife expert." Germüller pointed to the dossier in Ritter's hand. Ritter opened it.
